The Isles of Collier Preserve
Minto Communities is developing The Isles of Collier Preserve on what I think will be one of the last best parcels of land west of 41 in Naples, Florida. With phase one set to begin presales in early 2014 of 145 single family homes and 102 coach homes, the community is a blur of activity. The Isles of Collier Preserve is a 2,400-acre residential community which has dedicated more than half of its land to natural habitat and preserve. These preservation areas will be connected by a network of recreational trails, bike paths and waterways for kayaking. The first building to come out of the ground is The Isles of Collier Preserve Discovery Center that will open by the end of this year. This interactive center has been designed to incorporate environmental education, and will have displays on neighbors, including Naples Botanical Garden, Rookery Bay Reserve, The Conservancy and Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). All signs point to some kind of preseason launch during the month of November so check back for updates and breaking news.
