Stock Realty is moving. After nearly 15 years nestled in the heart of Lely Resort, Stock Realty is moving to its new home in Stock Plaza. Located at Lely Resort on the northwest corner of Collier Blvd and Grand Lely Drive, Stock Realty will be the first occupant of the five building mixed-use complex with over 45,000 square feet of commercial space. As we get settled in, I look forward to seeing old friends and many new faces as we expand our reach in the South Naples community. In the Know: First tenants set to open in new Stock Plaza at Lely Resort

Progress is finally being made on Stock Plaza, the new name for the retail center under construction by Stock Development just north of Grand Lely Drive at the Collier Boulevard entrance to Lely Resort.

When the 9-acre project is completed, the new Stock Plaza — previously referred to as Grand Lely Plaza and Hogan Plaza — will have five multi-tenant buildings ranging from 4,000 square feet to possibly more than 20,000 square feet. The first two buildings are ready for occupancy.

The inaugural space will be a Stock Realty office in the middle of the building nearest the Grand Lely Drive entrance to the center. The real estate office, set to open this Wednesday, will handle resales and rentals for the Stock-developed Lely Resort neighborhoods, as well as surrounding communities, said Claudine Leger-Wetzel, vice president of sales and marketing for Stock Development. That same building is designed to have a 4,000-square-foot restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating on its southern end.

“We don’t have a restaurant signed for that space, but that is the goal to put a restaurant in that space,” said Tim Schneider, senior associate for Trinity Commercial Group, the local company leasing the commercial space.

Between the future restaurant and Stock Realty office will be Casa Blanca Nail Bar. Three other possible units on the northern end of that building have yet to be leased. The other building ready for occupancy nearest Collier Boulevard will have endcaps anchored by an AT&T retail store and a Five Guys Burgers & Fries fast-casual eatery. The Five Guys franchise is targeted to open April 11, said managing partner Matt Stolba. As many as four other tenants will round out the building. “We are working on a couple things right now as we get near completion,” Leger-Wetzel said. The construction timeline for the other three buildings in Stock Plaza will be contingent upon how quickly the first two are filled by tenants, she said. The plan is to attract a mix of restaurants and other businesses, Schneider said.

Stock Development also plans another Lely commercial project on the other side of Grand Lely Drive. The southern property, also 9 acres, mirrors the Stock Plaza acreage to its north, but plans for it are strikingly different.

A five-story hotel has been proposed and accepted as a designated use for the rear of the property. Plans show the 60,000-square-foot building would have about 170 parking spaces.

Three freestanding out-parcels — planned for 3,000, 6,500 and 9,000 square feet — are proposed along the front of the property on Collier Boulevard with another nearly 220 parking spaces. Two triangular detention basins on the property will comprise nearly an acre, the site plan shows.

A construction timeline for this second commercial phase is not yet available. The entire phase is still up in the air because the focus is on completing Stock Plaza first, Schneider said.
