Lakoya Update
Checking into Lakoya closed sales through August 1st brings in a total of $34,529,503 accounting for 18 developer sales for $20,812,503 and 14 resales for $13,717,000. Focusing on the resale properties, the neighborhood saw houses selling for 83.5% of asking price with an averaging 187 days on market before an offer was accepted by the seller once full listing history was taken into account. Evidence of new home construction continues to dwindle with only eight homes still under construction and ten developer owned homes remain available for sale. Construction of the apartment complex, Inpsira, that abuts the northwest corner of the neighborhood, is well under way with two of four floors of the building closest to the main entrance rising up and the other three buildings under way.
