The Hacienda Lakes Community Development District has closed on a $5.2 million bond anticipation note, a measure that will spur construction and improvements at the entrance of the new 2,262-acre development east of Naples.

Work will soon begin on construction of a bridge across the Henderson Creek Canal, one of the improvements planned for the intersection of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and Collier Boulevard. Rattlesnake Hammock Road will be expanded to four lanes east of Collier Boulevard, and further improvements will be made at the intersection. There will also be a signature feature defining the entry to the community.

“The $5.2 million note issued in anticipation of future bonds shows investor confidence in Naples and in the components of Hacienda Lakes,” said David E. Torres, president of Hacienda Lakes of Naples LLC, developer of the Hacienda Lakes Development of Regional Impact. “This is an area of growth, a prime location for both residential and commercial development. The presence of prestigious medical facilities and educational institutions further boosts the value of this location.”

National builder Taylor Morrison has contracted to purchase a 153-acre tract for a new community to be built within Hacienda Lakes. To be called Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes, the community is planned to include 443 Mediterranean-inspired villas and single-family homes surrounded by 30 acres of pristine lakes and conservation areas. Construction of the first phase is expected to begin soon with models available in early 2014.

NAPLES — National builder Taylor Morrison has closed on the purchase of 153 acres for a community to be built within Hacienda Lakes, a new 2,262-acre development east of Naples.

“This is an exciting step in the development of Hacienda Lakes,” said David E. Torres, president of Hacienda Lakes of Naples LLC. “Construction of the first phase of the new community — to be called Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes — is expected to begin soon with models available in early 2014.”

Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes is planned to include 443 Mediterranean-inspired villas and single-family homes surrounded by 30 acres of lakes and conservation areas. It will be similar in amenities to the company’s successful resort-style community within the Lakewood Ranch master-planned community in Sarasota, Esplanade at Lakewood Ranch.

Community amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, various sports courts, a fire pit and boccie ball courts. A fenced pet park is planned where residents can socialize while their four-legged companions play. Walking trails will crisscross the community. The heart of the neighborhood will be the clubhouse with a fitness center, catering kitchen, gathering room as well as an on-site lifestyle director to arrange outings, activities and special events.

“We’re pleased with such an excellent beginning for the residential segment of Hacienda Lakes,” Torres said. “Taylor Morrison is a well respected builder with a long history and a reputation for creating quality communities.”

Work also has begun on the construction of a new bridge across the Henderson Creek Canal, one of the improvements planned for the intersection of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and Collier Boulevard. Rattlesnake Hammock Road will be expanded to four lanes east of Collier Boulevard, and further improvements will be made at the intersection. Construction is progressing on the expansion and improvements to Rattlesnake Hammock Road at the intersection of Collier Boulevard at Hacienda Lakes, a new 2,262-acre development east of Naples.

“The work is moving at a good pace,” said David E. Torres, president of Hacienda Lakes of Naples LLC, developer of the Hacienda Lakes Development of Regional Impact. “The road improvements, which are being done in compliance with the Florida Department of Transportation, will ultimately benefit this entire area. The work will include more improvements for the intersection as well as the expansion of Rattlesnake-Hammock Road to four lanes east of Collier Boulevard.”

The pilings have been set for the new bridge that crosses the Henderson Creek Canal, and a directional box has been installed to replace the water main under the bridge.

“The final step of this portion of the project will be the construction of a signature feature to define the entry to the community,” Torres said. “This will serve as a prelude to start of construction of Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes, the new neighborhood being constructed by national builder Taylor Morrison.”

Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes will occupy a 153-acre tract and is planned to include 443 Mediterranean-inspired villas and single-family homes surrounded by 30 acres of lakes and conservation areas. Construction of the first phase is expected to begin soon with models available in early 2014.

Toll Brothers begins building in Azure at Hacienda Lakes

Submitted by O’Connell & Goldberg4:07 a.m. EDT November 5, 2016

Toll Brothers announced that construction has begun on five luxury model homes and the sales center in its newest Southwest Florida community of Azure at Hacienda Lakes. The community is scheduled to open in early 2017.

The model homes will reflect the community’s British West Indies theme, which is new to Toll Brothers’ Southwest Florida communities. Azure at Hacienda Lakes homes will feature smooth masonry-stucco walls finished in light tones and accentuated with vibrantly colored plantation shutters on select models and elevations. Homes also may be adorned with exposed rafter tails, and flat tile roofs, all characteristic of British West Indies architecture and the island ambiance.

“The British West Indies theme will truly make Azure at Hacienda Lakes unique in the Naples area,” said Ken Thirtyacre, president of Toll Brothers’ West Florida division. “We look forward to welcoming prospective homebuyers to this luxury community early next year.”

Azure at Hacienda Lakes is on Rattlesnake-Hammock Road, east of Collier Boulevard and approximately 3½ miles south of I-75. A gated, master-planned community of more than 400 luxury coach and single-family homes, Azure at Hacienda Lakes will be ideally situated close to Naples’ Fifth Avenue South shopping district, beaches, golf courses and country clubs, and Artis–Naples.

A private resort-style clubhouse for residents will offer indoor and outdoor amenities.
