Staybridge Suites Comes to Lely Resort

Have you seen the newest addition to Lely Resort underway near Freedom Square at the intersection of Triangle Blvd and Celeste Drive? Currently under construction is a new Staybridge Suites hotel at Lely Resort, scheduled to open late 2018. Staybridge Suites is an all-suite, residential-style hotel that targets extended-stay and corporate travelers, which will have 103 rooms – all with full-size kitchens. The hotel will feature residential-style surroundings and services, including their “Great Room” lobby. Amenities will include complimentary hot breakfast daily, evening receptions midweek, fitness center, recreational activities and complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel. Developed by Stacey Development LLC, the hotel will focus on families with children, and will have walking and biking areas, as well as educational programs and excursions to local attractions. The lobby will include a fish tank that will be used to teach visitors about Southwest Florida’s sea life. Out back by a nature preserve, staff at a chickee hut will sell beer, wine and spirits and offer finger foods. Who knows, you may have just found that extra guest room you have always needed during season.
